Riyadh: The Muslim World League (MWL) strongly condemned the UAV attacks targeting the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, launched by Iranian-backed terrorist militias in Iraq, and praised the high level of efficiency demonstrated by the Kingdom's security forces in intercepting and thwarting the attacks.

According to Saudi Press Agency, in a statement, Secretary-General of MWL and Chairman of the Organization of Muslim Scholars Sheikh Dr. Mohammed Al-Issa denounced the attacks as treacherous and criminal acts that violate religious values as well as international law and humanitarian norms.

On behalf of the league's councils, bodies, and global assemblies, and the Muslim communities it represents, Al-Issa reaffirmed the MWL's full solidarity with the Kingdom in all measures it takes to deter aggression, safeguard its security and sovereignty, and protect its citizens and residents.

He also prayed for the continued protection of the Kingdom, its leadership, and its people from all harm.
