Riyadh: The National Center for Waste Management (MWAN) has launched a new electronic service through the Tawakkalna app, as part of its efforts to advance digital transformation and integrate with smart government platforms.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the service enables licensees and permit holders engaged in waste management activities to easily verify the status of their licenses and permits-whether valid or expired-with full access to details such as issuance and expiration dates. This contributes to greater transparency and streamlines procedural processes.
The service also allows entities and individuals seeking to contract with waste management facilities to verify the validity of their licenses through the app, thereby enhancing transaction reliability and reducing the risk of dealing with unregulated or non-compliant entities.
