Muslim World League Welcomes U.S. President’s Plan to End Gaza War

Jeddah: The Muslim World League (MWL) welcomed the announcement by U.S. President Donald Trump of a plan to end the war in the Gaza Strip, along with the international community's engagement and the readiness of key powers to support and ensure its success. In a statement issued by the MWL General Secretariat, MWL Secretary-General and Organization of Muslim Scholars Chairman Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulkarim Al-Issa reiterated that saving lives, halting the machinery of war, preventing displacement and annexation plans, and ending the humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza are urgent priorities at this stage.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Dr. Al-Issa emphasized that these steps would pave the way for a political path toward a just and comprehensive settlement based on the two-state solution. The commitment from the international community and influential nations is seen as crucial to achieving long-term peace and stability in the region. The MWL has consistently advocated for diplomatic efforts to resolve conflicts and is hopeful that this plan will lead to meaningful progress.
