Riyadh: The Muslim World League (MWL) has expressed its appreciation for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's efforts in de-escalating tensions between India and Pakistan.
According to Union of OIC News Agencies, the MWL has fully supported Saudi Arabia's diplomatic actions aimed at reducing conflicts between the two nations. In a statement from the General Secretariat, His Excellency the Secretary General, Chairman of the Muslim Scholars Association, His Eminence Sheikh Dr. Muhammad bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa, highlighted the recent visit of His Excellency Mr. Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir, the Minister of State for Foreign Affairs and Climate Affairs Envoy, to India and Pakistan. The visit, which occurred from May 8-9, 2025, was carried out under the guidance of Saudi Arabia's leadership as part of its initiative to promote peace and dialogue, putting an end to military confrontations.
His Eminence praised the Kingdom's diplomatic efforts, citing the wisdom of its leadership and its strong international relations that have historically contributed to regional and international stability. He urged India and Pakistan to prioritize the welfare of their people by engaging with Saudi Arabia's peace-promoting initiatives to prevent further escalation in the region.
