Riyadh: The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing has outlined specific regulations identifying nine locations where mobile trader activities are prohibited. These regulations are designed to ensure safety, maintain smooth traffic flow, and enhance the quality of life in urban areas.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Ministry Spokesperson Mohammed Al-Rasasmeh highlighted the prohibited areas, which include road intersections, central road medians, and parking spaces for persons with disabilities. Additional restricted locations are entrances and exits of main roads, areas adjacent to traffic lights, public parking areas, bicycle lanes, roads with heavy traffic, and areas designated for police, traffic, civil defense, and ambulance services.
The ministry has urged the public to report any municipal observations and violations related to mobile trader activities. Reports can be made through the unified number 940 or the "Balady" application, facilitating prompt action and ensuring the safety of roads and public facilities.
