Riyadh: The Ministry of Municipalities and Housing announced the completion of its operational plan for municipal services during the 1446 AH Hajj season. This achievement is attributed to the dedicated efforts of field teams from the ministry, the Holy Makkah Municipality, supporting municipalities, and all participating government agencies, which together ensured the delivery of optimal services to pilgrims in Makkah and the holy sites.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry confirmed that all programs were executed according to approved plans. The Holy Makkah Municipality efficiently carried out field operations, covering sanitation, environmental health, inspection of commercial and food outlets, road network preparation, lighting, and municipal facilities, ensuring pilgrims' comfort and facilitating the performance of their rituals with ease and peace of mind.
The municipal and housing services system deployed over 22,000 personnel, including employees, engineers, inspectors, and trained workers, to provide comprehensive municipal services throughout the Hajj season.
