Makkah: Minister of Municipalities and Housing Majed Al-Hogail inaugurated the Mowaridi platform, a unified digital marketplace designed to organize and manage food supply chains in Makkah.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the platform connects suppliers directly with kitchens and catering companies to serve over 1.8 million pilgrims and millions of visitors annually. By providing real-time tracking, inventory management, and data analytics, Mowaridi enhances seasonal preparedness, ensures procurement transparency, and fosters governance within the catering sector.
This initiative aligns with Saudi Vision 2030 by leveraging technology to build a sustainable, efficient food supply system that meets the high-precision demands of the holy city of Makkah.
