More Than 61,000 Students Sit for 2025 Bebras Mawhiba Test, Up 65% Year-on-Year

Riyadh: A total of 61,252 male and female students from across the Kingdom sat for the 2025 Bebras Mawhiba competition test, organized remotely by the King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba), in partnership with the Ministry of Education. The competition serves as the main entry point to the Mawhiba International Olympiad Program within the Saudi Informatics Team.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Mawhiba noted that the number of registrants for the 2025 Bebras Mawhiba reached 70,047 students, marking an increase of more than 68% compared with 2024, when 47,591 students registered and 39,955 sat for the test.

The year-on-year increase in the number of students who took the Bebras Mawhiba test reached 65% compared with 2024. This year, 87% of registered students completed the test.

Bebras Mawhiba is one of the international competitions conducted remotely in informatics thinking, logic, and computational thinking among school students. It attracts participation from more than two million students across over 70 countries worldwide.
