The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Grand Mosque and the Prophet’s Mosque has allocated more than 10,000 vehicles inside the Grand Mosque, including 2,000 electric scooters and 9,000 wheelchairs, to serve the pilgrims this year to assist them in performing their Hajj with comfort and ease.
The Director of the Mobility Services Department at the Grand Mosque, Ahmed bin Saleh Al-Maqati, said that the presidency had identified three locations for gathering licensed operators and drivers. The first is located at the entrance to Ajyad (King Abdulaziz Gate), the second is on the ground floor of the Grand Mosque (King Fahd Gate), and the third is on the first floor of Al-Masaa.
