Riyadh: The night sky over Arar, in Northern Borders Region: offered a captivating astronomical display last night as the moon formed a conjunction with Regulus, the brightest star in the constellation Leo.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Adnan Al-Ramdaoun, a member of the astronomy and space club, said that the conjunction became visible just before midnight when the moon appeared close to the bright star, offering an ideal opportunity for naked-eye observation, particularly in areas with minimal light pollution.
