General

Riyadh: The Small and Medium Enterprises General Authority, known as Monsha'at, has entered into a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Saudi Arabian branch of Standard Chartered Bank. This agreement was signed during the Biban Forum 2025, an event organized by Monsha'at, held from November 5 to 8 at the Riyadh Front Exhibition and Conference Center. The forum carried the theme 'A Global Destination for Opportunities.'

According to Saudi Press Agency, the MoU focuses on the 'Futuremakers Women in Tech Saudi Arabia' initiative. This global accelerator aims to empower female entrepreneurs who are at the helm of technology-based or tech-enabled startups.

Now in its third edition in Saudi Arabia, the initiative underscores a commitment to increasing gender diversity and boosting female participation in the tech sector. It also aims to cultivate a more inclusive and sustainable entrepreneurship ecosystem within the Kingdom.
