Munich: The Saudi Authority for Industrial Cities and Technology Zones (MODON) participated in the international Transport Logistic Expo, currently being held in Munich, Germany, and continuing until June 5. MODON's participation is part of the National Industrial Development and Logistics Program (NIDLP) pavilion in cooperation with the "Invest Saudi" platform.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this participation aligns with MODON's efforts to reinforce its role as a key driver of industrial and logistics growth in the Kingdom. It aims to showcase available investment opportunities, promote competitive advantages and incentives offered to investors, and highlight enablers that improve the business environment within industrial cities, supporting the goals of the National Industrial Strategy and Saudi Vision 2030.

On the sidelines of the expo, MODON signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with US-based Panattoni to develop, establish, and operate modern industrial and logistics projects, including logistics warehouses covering 50,000 square meters at MODON Oasis in Jeddah. Another MoU was signed with the Chinese company JINGDONG (JD Property) to explore, develop, and operate industrial and logistics projects spanning a total area of 120,000 square meters in Sudair Industrial and Business City and Jeddah Third Industrial City. These initiatives aim to boost the Kingdom's logistics services and e-commerce infrastructure.
