Jeddah: The National Center for Meteorology has forecast moderate to heavy rain, potentially leading to flash floods, in the Jazan and Aseer regions on Monday. These weather conditions are expected to be accompanied by hail and dust-stirring winds. Meanwhile, light to moderate rain is anticipated in the regions of Al-Baha, Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, Eastern, and Najran.
According to Saudi Press Agency, dust-stirring winds are predicted along the coastal road leading to Jazan. In the Red Sea, northerly to northwesterly winds are expected in the northern and central parts at speeds of 25-60 km/h. In the southern part, the winds will shift from westerly to northwesterly to southeasterly to southerly in the evening, at speeds of 25-50 km/h. Waves in the Red Sea will range from one meter to two and a half meters, making the sea calm to choppy.
In contrast, the Arabian Gulf will experience northwesterly to northerly winds in the northern and central parts, with easterly to southeasterly winds at speeds of 10-30 km/h in the southern part. Waves in the Arabian Gulf are expected to range from half a meter to one meter, with the sea remaining calm.
