Moderate to Heavy Rain and Flash Floods Expected in Saudi Regions

Riyadh: Moderate to heavy rain, which may lead to flash floods and include hail, is anticipated in parts of the Jazan, Aseer, Al-Baha, and Makkah regions. According to Saudi Press Agency, these weather conditions are expected as per the forecast from the National Center for Meteorology.

Light to moderate rain showers are predicted for the Najran and Madinah regions. In addition, gusty winds that stir up dust are expected to blow across these regions and parts of the Riyadh Region.

Over the Red Sea, winds are expected to be northwesterly to westerly at speeds of 10-30 km/h, with waves ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters, indicating relatively calm sea conditions. Meanwhile, in the Arabian Gulf, winds will vary from southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds of 10-26 km/h, with wave heights between half a meter to one meter, suggesting calm sea conditions as well.
