Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has forecasted that moderate thunderstorms accompanied by hail and active winds will persist in the Riyadh and Eastern regions. Light rain is anticipated in the Al-Baha, Aseer, Jazan, and Najran regions, with a possibility of fog formation in these areas. Additionally, dust-stirring winds are expected in the Al-Jouf, Northern Borders, Tabuk, Madinah, and Makkah regions, particularly affecting coastal areas.
According to Saudi Press Agency, winds over the Red Sea will predominantly be northwesterly to northerly at speeds of 25-45 km/h in the northern and central parts. In contrast, the southern part will experience southeasterly to southwesterly winds at 15-40 km/h, which will shift to northerly to northwesterly at 12-30 km/h by evening. Wave heights may vary from half a meter to two meters, with sea conditions ranging from calm to choppy.
In the Arabian Gulf, winds will be easterly to southeasterly in the northern and central parts, and northeasterly to easterly in the southern part, reaching speeds of 15-45 km/h. Wave heights are expected to range from half a meter to more than two meters, with the sea remaining relatively calm to choppy.
