Mina: A total of 800 participants from the Ministry of Sport scout camps, including leaders and scouts, have begun surveying Mina. Their objective is to collect detailed field information from the five camps, mapping key locations such as pilgrim housing, landmarks, pedestrian routes, and the headquarters of government agencies serving pilgrims. This survey is being conducted in preparation for the arrival of pilgrims in Mina for the Day of Tarwiyah, ensuring effective coordination and support.
According to Saudi Press Agency, this initiative is part of the Ministry of Sport's ongoing efforts to empower scouts in guiding pilgrims and helping those who are lost. With the cooperation of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, the initiative also aims to provide essential support to pilgrims, enabling them to perform Hajj rituals with ease and tranquility.
The Ministry of Sport operates five scout camps in Mina, where scout teams conduct field surveys and gather data using best practices in managing pilgrim delegations, guiding pilgrims, and organizing crowd movement.
