Ministry of Sport Participates in ‘Marrakech OIC Youth Capital 2025’ Forum

Marrakech: The "Marrakech OIC Youth Capital 2025" forum kicked off yesterday in the city of Marrakech, Morocco, with the participation of youth delegations from member states of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC). Representing the Minister of Sport, Assistant Deputy Minister for Youth Affairs Ahmed Alghimlas headed the Saudi delegation and delivered the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's address in its capacity as chair of the Islamic Conference of Youth and Sport Ministers.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the forum will run through July 03, 2025, aiming to foster dialogue among youth in the Islamic world. The event encourages cooperation in areas such as innovation, entrepreneurship, culture, and health, providing a platform for exchanging ideas and successful experiences in these fields.

Forum sessions are addressing key topics, including the challenges faced by youth in the Islamic world during the COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting economic and social repercussions. The ministry's participation in the forum is part of its ongoing efforts to engage with youth across the Islamic world and strengthen cooperation on issues of shared interest.
