Cairo: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance is taking part in the 57th Cairo International Book Fair as a component of the Kingdom's pavilion. The renowned fair commenced today at the Egypt International Exhibition Center, bringing together 1,457 publishing houses from 83 countries.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry is presenting a range of publications from the King Fahd Glorious Quran Printing Complex. The display highlights the various stages of Quran production and includes the distribution of 50,000 copies of the Holy Quran in different sizes, editions, and recitations, offered as a gift from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to attendees. This generous donation underscores the Kingdom's dedication to serving the Holy Quran and Muslims across the globe.
The pavilion also features the Islamic e-library and showcases the ministry's digital transformation efforts, such as the Rushd app, the correct citation app, and the multilingual Virtual Hajj app. Additionally, visitors have the opportunity to engage in virtual reality tours of the Grand Mosque in Makkah and the Prophet's Mosque in Madinah, made possible by advanced interactive technology.
This participation highlights the ministry's sustained role in advancing the peaceful message of Islam and enhancing the Kingdom's cultural and outreach footprint globally, aligning with Vision 2030.
