Makkah: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance has launched the Smart Book of Hajj Rituals, a digital initiative designed to facilitate the understanding and performance of Hajj and Umrah rituals through modern technology.
According to Saudi Press Agency, as part of its awareness programs for the Hajj season 1446 AH, the ministry aims to distribute an advanced electronic version of the Smart Book of Hajj Rituals at key locations across Makkah, the holy sites, the Miqat areas, and other entry points.
The initiative leverages Near Field Communication (NFC) technology, enabling pilgrims to access the e-book by simply passing their smartphones over designated devices and selecting their preferred language. This ensures that religious guidance is delivered in a seamless, culturally sensitive, and multilingual format.
