Dakar: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance, through the Religious Attach© at the Kingdom's Embassy in Senegal, organized a farewell ceremony at the embassy in Dakar for the third group of participants in the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Umrah and Visit for the year 1446 AH. The event was attended by Saudi Ambassador to Senegal Saad bin Abdullah Al-Nifaie and Religious Attach© Salman Al-Fuhaid.
According to Saudi Press Agency, during the ceremony, Ambassador Al-Nifaie distributed Umrah supplies to the guests, underscoring the deep historical and notable relations between Saudi Arabia and Senegal. He noted that the recent visit by the President of Senegal to the Kingdom had strengthened cooperation, aligning both nations on regional and international matters, especially concerning peace and sustainable development.
Ambassador Al-Nifaie highlighted the significance of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques Program for Umrah and Visit, pointing out that it demonstrates the Kingdom's dedication to offering comprehensive support to pilgrims, ensuring a spiritual journey marked by comfort and peace. He stated that the initiative is part of Saudi Arabia's wider efforts to fortify connections with Islamic countries and enhance religious ties among Muslims globally.
Representing the Senegalese delegation, Dr. Khadim Mbacke conveyed deep appreciation to the Kingdom's leadership for its generous hospitality. He commended Saudi Arabia's continuous endeavors to assist Muslims worldwide and facilitate Hajj and Umrah rituals, describing the program as a humanitarian initiative that embodies the Kingdom's noble values and promotes Islamic unity.
