Malappuram: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance, represented by the Religious Attach© in India, recently organized the third Holy Quran and Sunnah Competition in Southern India. The event was held in collaboration with Darul Huda Islamic University in Malappuram, Kerala, and witnessed the presence of Sheikh Dr. Awad bin Sabti Al-Anazi, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the competition, now in its third year, attracted a total of 1,022 participants, comprising both boys and girls, who competed across various branches of the competition. The event highlighted the dedication and commitment of young individuals to the study and memorization of the Holy Quran and Sunnah.
At the conclusion of the ceremony, Sheikh Dr. Awad bin Sabti Al-Anazi honored the winners, recognizing their achievements and encouraging continued devotion to Islamic teachings. The competition serves as a platform to inspire and nurture the religious and spiritual growth of the participants, contributing to the broader objectives of the Ministry of Islamic Affairs.
