Cairo: The Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah, and Guidance has been a focal point at the Kingdom's pavilion during the 56th Cairo International Book Fair, attracting visitors with rich offerings that showcase the ministry's efforts to serve Muslims in alignment with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030.
According to Saudi Press Agency, a highlight of the ministry's corner is the daily distribution of hundreds of copies of the Holy Quran in various sizes, printed by the King Fahd Complex for the Printing of the Holy Quran in Madinah. Visitors are particularly drawn to the interactive displays detailing the stages of Quran printing, which utilize advanced technologies to reflect the Kingdom's dedication to preserving and disseminating the Holy Quran worldwide.
The corner features an exhibition of rare historical Islamic manuscripts, providing insights into the works of jurists, writers, linguists, and scholars. Additionally, visitors can explore Hajj and Umrah rituals through the "Multilingual 3D Virtual Hajj and Umrah" application, which offers an immersive, step-by-step guide to the sacred rituals.
Other digital services on display include the "Rushd" and "Correct Quotation" applications, designed to enhance the experience of exhibition attendees. The use of VR technology to simulate visits to holy sites has been particularly well-received, with visitors expressing admiration for the Kingdom's innovative approach to serving Muslims globally.
