Ministry of Investment Strengthens Ties at Saudi-Qatari Roundtable and Web Summit Qatar 2026

Doha: A Saudi delegation from the public and private sectors, led by the Ministry of Investment, is actively participating in the Saudi-Qatari Roundtable for Investment Development and the Web Summit Qatar 2026 in Doha from January 1-4, 2026. The visit is geared towards strengthening investment partnerships and expanding cooperation between the two nations across various sectors of mutual interest.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the visit commenced with the second Saudi-Qatari Roundtable, which saw attendance from over 50 officials and executives from leading Saudi companies. The session began with welcoming remarks from the co-chairs, Assistant Minister of Investment of Saudi Arabia Dr. Abdullah Aldubaikhi and Undersecretary of the Qatari Ministry of Commerce and Industry Mohammed bin Hassan Al-Malki. Following the opening, presentations by the Investment Promotion Agency Qatar (Invest Qatar) and the Saudi Ministry of Investment reviewed proposed initiatives, aligning them with the strategic objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 and Qatar National Vision 2030.

The roundtable also involved the signing of several memoranda of understanding and included open discussions on a variety of agenda topics. Concurrently, the Kingdom reinforced its presence at the Web Summit Qatar 2026, participating as a Diamond Partner through the 'Invest Saudi' platform. The summit, held at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center from February 1-4, underscored Saudi Arabia's commitment to global technology and investment engagement.
