Ministry of Interior Warns Against Violating Hajj Permit Regulations

Riyadh: The Ministry of Interior has issued a warning regarding the violation of Hajj regulations, emphasizing the importance of obtaining a permit to perform Hajj. This regulation applies from Dhu al-Qidah 1 until the end of Dhu al-Hijjah 14.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry has announced that individuals who perform or attempt to perform Hajj without the necessary permit will face significant penalties. Violators may be fined up to SAR20,000. Additionally, residents who are found guilty of this infraction could face deportation and a subsequent 10-year ban on re-entry into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.

The Ministry of Interior has urged both citizens and residents to adhere to these regulations, which are designed to ensure the security and well-being of all pilgrims. The ministry has also encouraged the public to actively report any violations. In Makkah, Madinah, Riyadh, and the Eastern regions, individuals can report violations by calling 911, while those in other regions of the Kingdom should contact 999.
