Mecca: The Ministry of Interior has issued a call for pilgrims to strictly follow the guidelines regulating their movements during the days of Tashreeq. Pilgrims are instructed to use designated routes for their journeys to and from Jamarat, Tawaf, and Sa'i, and are advised against carrying luggage to the Jamarat facility and the Grand Mosque. Additionally, they are expected to adhere to grouping schedules and maintain order and calm while moving around.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Ministry's security spokesman, Colonel Talal bin Abdul Mohsen bin Shalhoub, emphasized the importance of these measures. He specifically addressed pilgrims planning to leave in a hurry on the second day of Tashreeq, advising them to stay in their camps until their scheduled departure time, as determined by the organizers serving them.
Colonel Shalhoub also highlighted the ongoing security and organizational efforts in line with approved plans to ensure the safety of the pilgrims, referred to as the Guests of God, until they complete their rituals and return home. He expressed a hope for success and guidance in fulfilling this significant duty, aligning with the aspirations of the country's leadership.
