Riyadh: The Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development has announced its comprehensive service package for the upcoming Hajj season 1446 AH. The initiative aims to enhance the experience of pilgrims through a series of contributions and services that align with the leadership's directives.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry's efforts include streamlining the process for obtaining temporary work permits via the "Ajeer" portal. This initiative is complemented by the issuance of Hajj and Umrah work visas, designed to support businesses employing seasonal workers during the pilgrimage. Additionally, the ministry plans to increase inspection visits to ensure compliance with the Labor Law and its regulations.
Social services will be provided at the holy sites, offering family counseling, social support, and well-supervised children's hospitality centers staffed by qualified personnel. These services aim to address the various needs of pilgrims during their stay.
Moreover, the ministry is promoting volunteer work, which includes welcoming pilgrims at border crossings, providing assistance in the holy sites and the Grand Mosque, aiding the elderly and individuals with disabilities, and distributing meals and water to pilgrims.
