Riyadh: On the International Day of Older Persons, the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development reaffirmed its commitment to advancing digital transformation in the delivery of social services and improving the quality of life for elderly beneficiaries. The ministry is focusing on digitally empowering older persons through services and initiatives designed to facilitate access, accelerate delivery, and enable them to fully benefit from available support.

According to Saudi Press Agency, aligned with the goals of Saudi Vision 2030, the ministry has launched several digital initiatives that enhance the electronic empowerment of older persons. Among the most notable is the issuance of a Privilege Digital Card for Seniors through the ministry's website and unified application. The card provides priority access to services and discounts on select public services, all managed electronically. The application also enables seniors to track and inquire about submitted applications and obtain assistive medical devices. The Privilege Digital Card for Seniors is also integrated into the ministry's application and digital wallet.

To improve the quality of digital services for older persons, the ministry conducts periodic studies to assess satisfaction and enhance user experience. These include monitoring card usage, compiling ongoing statistics on electronic applications, and reviewing the quality of available services.

These efforts underscore the ministry's commitment to empowering elderly beneficiaries, involving them in the national development process, and integrating them into the digital ecosystem, in line with Vision 2030's goals of building a vibrant society and achieving sustainable development.
