Mina: The Ministry of Health has issued an advisory urging pilgrims to pay careful attention to foot care during their movement around Mina. Emphasizing the importance of foot health, the ministry recommended that pilgrims regularly inspect their feet, choose comfortable footwear, and ensure their feet are washed and thoroughly dried, particularly between the toes. According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministry highlighted the risks of walking barefoot, especially for individuals with diabetes who are more susceptible to cuts and ulcers. Special attention was directed towards female pilgrims, advising them to wear appropriate socks to prevent blisters and skin irritation, which can lead to injuries during the extensive walking and movement required by Hajj rituals. The advisory also encouraged pilgrims to utilize the 937-service number for medical consultations and assistance, reinforcing the ministry's commitment to safeguarding the health and safety of pilgrims. These guidelines are part of a broader initi ative to provide comprehensive health awareness services, ensuring pilgrims remain healthy during the Hajj season.
