Riyadh: The Ministry of Health and Roche Saudi Arabia Limited have signed a strategic memorandum of understanding (MoU) during the eighth edition of the Global Health Exhibition held in Riyadh. This partnership is set to enhance the clinical research system within ministry hospitals, aiming to increase the generation of scientific evidence and improve the efficiency of health services across Saudi Arabia.
According to Saudi Press Agency, key initiatives under this MoU include developing a comprehensive strategic roadmap for clinical research to establish robust research capabilities in ministry facilities. The partnership will also involve conducting a detailed gap assessment of research capabilities and facilities in 20 ministry-affiliated hospitals, ensuring the integration of the latest technologies into Saudi Arabia's healthcare research system. This strategic agreement signifies a unified commitment to positioning Saudi Arabia as a leader in clinical innovation and scientific discovery.
