Mecca: The Ministry of Health has issued a warning to pilgrims participating in the Hajj to avoid direct sun exposure between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. due to the high temperatures at the holy sites. This advisory is part of an effort to prevent heat-related illnesses such as heat exhaustion and sunstroke among the pilgrims.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the Ministry emphasized the importance of following specific preventive measures to ensure the safety of pilgrims. These measures include the use of umbrellas for shade, maintaining adequate hydration by drinking sufficient amounts of water, and following grouping instructions. These guidelines are part of the health system's broader strategy to protect pilgrims and ensure their well-being as they perform their religious duties.
