Ministry of Hajj and Umrah Launches Hajj Journey Documentary Series in Indonesia

The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah launched the Hajj Journey documentary series yesterday in Jakarta, which follows the story of eight pilgrims from the Republic of Indonesia. The series aims to shed light on pilgrims’ experience and the facilities provided by the Kingdom to serve them in their travel journey, starting with their departure from their homeland to their arrival in Makkah and performing the rituals until their return to their homeland.

The series also aims to educate pilgrims worldwide on Hajj requirements to facilitate their Hajj journey and improve the pilgrims’ experience in the coming seasons by gaining the required knowledge and familiarizing themselves with the procedures. The Ministry of Hajj and Umrah inaugurated the Hajj Journey Series at the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs headquarters, Jakarta], in the presence of Saudi Ambassador to the Republic of Indonesia Faisal Al-Amoudi,

Ambassador Al-Amoudi commended the impressive film production presented by the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah, pointing out that the series reflects many informative aspects and touch on the efforts of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to facilitate the journey of pilgrims from their arrival until their safe return to their homeland.

The Indonesian Minister of Religious Affairs, Yaqut Khalil Qumas, expressed his thanks and appreciation for the initiative of the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in producing this documentary series, which offers a step-by-step guide to performing Hajj to all Muslims who wish to undertake this journey.

The ten-episode series is now available on the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah’s YouTube channels and will be aired on several Indonesian and Saudi channels.
