Ministry of Education Boosts International Outreach at NAFSA 2025

San Diego: The Ministry of Education commenced its participation in the NAFSA 2025 Annual Conference and Expo at the San Diego Convention Center in California, USA. Running from May 27 to 30, the event attracts over 10,000 international education specialists from more than 100 countries, as well as more than 400 exhibitors representing educational institutions, organizations, and academic services from around the world.

According to Saudi Press Agency, Deputy Minister for Scholarships Dr. Lina Altoaimy attended the opening ceremony, along with other officials and several deans and vice presidents of Saudi universities. Altoaimy highlighted that this marks the ministry's second participation in NAFSA, with 12 Saudi universities taking part. This engagement supports the goals of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, which seeks to develop a vibrant educational system that enhances quality of life and bolsters the knowledge economy by attracting international students.

She emphasized the significance of the ministry's "Study in Saudi" platform, showcased at the event, which serves as a gateway to introduce academic, research, and training programs offered by Saudi universities to international students. The platform has successfully attracted over 50,000 international students from various countries worldwide.
