Riyadh: The Ministry of Culture launched the "Culture Incubator" initiative in the presence of Deputy Minister of Culture Hamed bin Mohammed Fayez and senior officials from the cultural sector.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the incubator is designed to serve as a catalyst for growth and empowerment, aiming to accelerate the development of cultural entities. Its first cohort targets professional cultural associations, with graduation expected in January 2027. The program focuses on both non-profit organizations and business-oriented entities within the cultural ecosystem, offering tailored support and guidance, while placing responsibility for engagement and progress on participating entities.

The incubator also represents an innovative model focused on enhancing the sustainability and operational efficiency of cultural organizations. It aims to equip them to meet evolving sector demands, fulfill their missions, and increase institutional competitiveness through a structured capacity-building journey. The initiative fosters an environment where creativity, innovation, and originality become foundational principles, positioning culture as a key driver of national development.

This initiative aligns with the ministry's ongoing efforts to elevate the cultural landscape in Saudi Arabia by establishing new cultural institutions, activating all elements of the cultural value chain, empowering the ecosystem, nurturing talent, and enhancing the quality and impact of Saudi cultural production as a vital contributor to the Kingdom's cultural development.
