Riyadh: The Ministry of Commerce has detailed the new digital format for commercial registers, which includes comprehensive business data and can be easily accessed via a QR code located on the certificate's left side. This update comes as the new Law of Commercial Register and its executive regulations have come into force. Key differences between the previous and new laws include that a single commercial register will now suffice for all activities of each establishment, the cancellation of the expiration date of the commercial register, and the introduction of an annual confirmation of the register's data.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the redesigned commercial register consists of a single page, providing access to all its information through the QR code. Key details include the registered activities, registration date, annual confirmation date, approved business address, list of directors, and capital value. The new format is recognized by all entities of the government and private sectors, as well as banks, in accordance with the new law and its regulations.
