Minister of Sports, Prince Abdulaziz bin Turki bin Faisal, who also holds the presidency of the Arab Football Federation (AFF), presided over the 77th Session of the AFF Council today in Taif.
During the session, the reports presented by the AFF Secretariat General were thoroughly reviewed and subsequently approved.
Following the council meeting, Prince Abdulaziz led the 27th gathering of the AFF General Assembly. During this assembly, Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifah bin Ahmed Al Thani was unanimously appointed as the second deputy of the AFF president. Furthermore, the minutes of the preceding General Assembly meeting were ratified.
Prince Abdulaziz conveyed his gratitude and appreciation to the leadership of the Kingdom for its steadfast support of the AFF. He also extended congratulations to the member states of the federation for the resounding success of the 2023 King Salman Club Cup.
