Riyadh: On the sidelines of the LEAP25 tech conference held in Riyadh, Minister of Industry and Mineral Resources Bandar Alkhorayef met with Bahraini Minister of Transportation and Telecommunications Shaikh Abdullah bin Ahmed Al Khalifa and executives from several leading global technology companies. The meeting was also attended by Saudi Assistant Minister for Planning and Development Dr. Abdullah bin Ali Alahmari.
According to Saudi Press Agency, Alkhorayef discussed ways to strengthen relations between the two nations, enhance exports, and explore mutual opportunities in the logistics sector.
Additionally, Alkhorayef held discussions with representatives from major tech companies participating in the exhibition, including DAMAC, HP, and Schneider Electric. These discussions focused on the latest digital infrastructure solutions for the industrial and mining sectors.
As part of his tour at LEAP25, Alkhorayef reviewed digital services and products showcased by participating entities and innovative solutions presented by global tech companies aimed at accelerating digital transformation. The exhibition highlights cutting-edge technologies such as artificial intelligence, robotics, and the Internet of Things (IoT).
The industry and mineral resources sector officially launched their participation in the LEAP25 exhibition, which will take place from February 9 to 12.
