Minister of Energy Meets U.S. Counterpart to Discuss Strengthening Energy Cooperation

Riyadh: Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman bin Abdulaziz met today in Riyadh with U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright as part of Secretary Wright's official visit to the Kingdom. The meeting aimed at discussing ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in various energy sectors.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the discussions covered a range of topics, including oil and gas, petrochemicals, carbon management, hydrogen technologies, the peaceful use of nuclear energy, electricity, renewables, and innovation. Both parties highlighted the importance of these areas as pivotal points of mutual interest.

The leaders also stressed the need for ongoing coordination and the exchange of expertise between the two nations. This collaboration is seen as a critical step in supporting the transition to more sustainable and efficient energy systems.
