Jakarta: Minister of Culture Prince Bader bin Abdullah bin Farhan met today in Jakarta with Indonesia's Minister of Culture Fadli Zon. The meeting underscored the commitment of both nations to deepening their cultural bonds.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Saudi minister expressed his pride in the strong ties between Saudi Arabia and Indonesia, highlighting the existing cultural cooperation and exchange across various cultural fields. The discussions centered around expanding participation in cultural events and enhancing collaboration in multiple areas of cultural exchange.
The minister commended the ongoing cooperation between the Diriyah Biennale Foundation and several Indonesian museums, particularly through the loan of artworks for the upcoming Islamic Arts Biennale in 2025. He also noted Indonesia's participation in the Saudi International Handicrafts Week (Banan) in November 2025. Additionally, there has been a significant collaboration between the King Salman Global Academy for Arabic Language and several Indonesian universities in teaching Arabic, further cementing the educational and cultural ties between the two countries.
