Washington: Minister of Communications and Information Technology Eng. Abdullah Alswaha met in the United States with CEO of Intel Lip-Bu Tan to discuss areas of partnership in developing semiconductor and advanced computing technologies, and enhancing collaboration in building AI infrastructure and future technologies.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the meeting comes as part of the Kingdom's efforts to reinforce its position as a global hub for artificial intelligence and advanced computing, and to localize value chains in semiconductor technologies. This initiative aims to support the objectives of Saudi Vision 2030 by strengthening the competitiveness of the digital economy and the Kingdom's leadership in future technologies.
