Middle Eastern Foreign Ministers Back Trump’s Peace Efforts in Gaza

Riyadh: The Foreign Ministers of Saudi Arabia, Jordan, the United Arab Emirates, Indonesia, Pakistan, Trkiye, Qatar, and Egypt have jointly expressed support for President Donald J. Trump's leadership in efforts to end the conflict in Gaza. They have voiced confidence in his ability to steer the region towards peace and highlighted the importance of their partnership with the United States in maintaining regional stability.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the ministers welcomed President Trump's recent proposal aimed at ending the war in Gaza, rebuilding the region, preventing the displacement of Palestinians, and advancing a comprehensive peace agreement. They also noted his commitment to preventing the annexation of the West Bank, which they view as a significant step towards achieving lasting peace.

The ministers reiterated their willingness to engage constructively with the United States and all involved parties to finalize and implement the proposed agreement. They emphasized the need for a solution that ensures peace, security, and stability for the people in the region.

Additionally, the joint statement affirmed the ministers' commitment to working with the United States on a comprehensive deal that includes unrestricted humanitarian aid to Gaza, the release of hostages, a security mechanism for all parties, a full Israeli withdrawal, and the reconstruction of Gaza. They stressed the importance of a two-state solution, integrating Gaza with the West Bank as part of a Palestinian state in accordance with international law, as crucial for achieving regional stability and security.
