MEWA Relaunches Return Service for Non-Saudi Livestock Owners via Naama Platform

The ministry of environment:audi-owned grazing camels and livestock through the Naama platform, supporting pasture preservation and environmental sustainability in line with the Saudi Green Initiative.

According to Saudi Press Agency, this service allows owners and herders who could not return their livestock to apply for a return permit electronically, subject to specific requirements. Approved quarantine procedures must also be observed, in accordance with the Veterinary Quarantine Law and the GCC Animal Welfare Law. Owners should refrain from proceeding to the border until approval and a return appointment are granted.

Regulating the return of grazing livestock is essential for protecting pastures, curbing irregular practices, and maintaining environmental balance.
