Meteorology Department Warns of Strong Wind, High Seas Off Shore

Doha: Weather inshore tonight until 6:00 am on Sunday will be humid and hazy to misty at places, the Department of Meteorology said in its daily weather report. Offshore, it will see hazy at times with some clouds, the report added warning of strong wind and high sea by early morning. Wind inshore will be northeasterly - southeasterly at a speed of 05 to 15 knot. Offshore, it will be northeasterly - southeasterly at a speed of 07 to 17 knot gusting to 24 knot at places by early morning. Visibility will be 04 to 08km/ 03km of less at places inshore and 04 to 10 kilometers . Sea state inshore will be 1 to 2 feet rises to 05 feet by early morning. Offshore will be 2 to 4 feet rises to 8 feet at places by early morning.
