Meteorology Center Forecasts Dust-Stirring Winds and Thunderstorms Across Saudi Regions

Riyadh: The National Center for Meteorology has predicted that several regions in Saudi Arabia, including Northern Borders, Hail, Qassim, Riyadh, Eastern, Najran, and Makkah, will experience dust-stirring winds this Sunday. Additionally, the southwestern highlands of the Kingdom are expected to see thunderstorms accompanied by gusty winds.

According to Saudi Press Agency, northwesterly to northerly winds over the Red Sea are anticipated to blow at speeds of 15-40 km/h, with wave heights ranging from half a meter to one and a half meters, indicating a calm sea. Meanwhile, in the Arabian Gulf, winds are expected to be northwesterly at speeds of 25-45 km/h, with wave heights between one to two meters, suggesting relatively calm sea conditions.
