President Sisi condemns terrorist attack on New Zealand mosques

President Abdel Fattah El Sisi has strongly condemned the heinous terrorist attack that targeted two mosques in New Zealand’s city of Christchurch, killing 50 Muslim worshipers and wounding dozens others, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Radi said on Friday.

This terrorist attack, which shocked the human conscience, requires the international community to unite its efforts to decisively counter terrorism, violence and the extremist thought, in addition to seeking to promote and consolidate the values of peaceful coexistence, tolerance and acceptance of others, the spokesman quoted Sisi as saying.

Also, the president offered his sincere condolences to the victims’ families.
