Djibouti President arrives in Cairo for consultative summit

Djibouti President IsmaA�l Omar Guelleh arrived in Cairo on Tuesday 23/4/ 2019 on a one-day visit to Egypt to take part in a consultative summit of Sudan’s regional partners to probe the Sudanese and Libyan issues.

The summit, hosted by Egypt under the chairmanship of African Union Head President Abdel Fattah El Sisi, tackles the latest developments in Sudan, enhancing joint action and best ways to deal with developments in Sudan.

The summit comprises the heads of state of Chad, Djibouti, Rwanda, Congo and South Africa along with the head of the African Union Commission, Ethiopian deputy prime minister, the South Sudan presidential adviser for security affairs, the Ugandan and Kenyan foreign ministers and the Nigerian foreign undersecretary.
