Riyadh: The Ministry of Media is preparing to hold a ceremony next Monday, March 10, to honor the winners of the fifth edition of the Media Excellence Award in partnership with the 'Human Capability Development Program,' one of the programs supporting the realization of Saudi Vision 2030. The award honors institutions and individuals with a significant media impact across various fields and recognizes outstanding contributions in the media sector.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the fifth edition of the Media Excellence Award includes ten categories: photography, journalistic article, journalistic interview, creative video, television production, national song, radio, podcast, digital coverage of the 1445 Hajj season, and best influential account on social media.
The award in 2024 focused on promoting the values of national belonging, positivity, and resilience. It aims to inspire media creativity among institutions and individuals, encourage participation in national media productions, enhance the creative spirit among citizens and residents, foster competition among innovators, support national media content, and honor distinguished institutions and figures.
