Mawhiba Opens Registration for 2025 Bebras Competition

Riyadh: The King Abdulaziz and His Companions Foundation for Giftedness and Creativity (Mawhiba) has announced the opening of registration for the 2025 Bebras Mawhiba Competition, held remotely in partnership with the Ministry of Education. The competition aims to foster students' problem-solving skills and deepen their understanding of computer science concepts. Registration will remain open until December 1, 2025.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the competition is one of the most prominent international contests in the fields of informatics and computer science. More than two million students from over 70 countries participate in the competition, which is open to students from Grade 3 to Grade 12. It is conducted through a secure online platform, allowing students to participate anywhere in the Kingdom.

By engaging in this competition, students are encouraged to adopt a systematic and creative approach to problem-solving. The tasks are designed to help them break down complex challenges and apply key computer science principles such as algorithms, pattern recognition, and abstraction.

Mawhiba emphasized that the competition plays a key role in spreading a culture of informatics among young learners, enhancing their innovation and digital literacy.
