Riyadh:Mauritania has strongly condemned the targeting of the Taibah electricity distribution station, which supplies power to the Prophet's Mosque, asserting that this attack is a significant violation of the sanctity of Islamic holy sites.
According to Saudi Press Agency, the Mauritanian Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed the country's full solidarity with and support for the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. They categorically rejected any hostile acts that threaten the Kingdom's security and territorial stability.
Mauritania additionally reiterated its unwavering support for all measures and efforts aimed at safeguarding regional security, protecting holy sites, and ensuring the safety of pilgrims and visitors.
