Matarat Holding Launches Training Program to Develop National Talent in Civil Aviation

Matarat holding: Matarat Holding and its subsidiaries, in collaboration with the Ministry of Transport and Logistic Services, the Ministry of Education, and the General Authority of Civil Aviation (GACA), have launched the "Wa'ed" program to develop national capabilities in airport operations and management. This is part of Matarat's commitment to developing human capital and strengthening workforce readiness in the Kingdom's civil aviation sector.

According to Saudi Press Agency, the program aims to develop and qualify national cadres through practical, on-the-job training in collaboration with Dublin Airport company "daa" in Ireland. It focuses on specializations that address the operational and administrative needs of airport management and operations, aligning with the rapid growth and advancements in the sector.

The Saudi Embassy in Dublin and the Saudi Cultural Attach© in the Republic of Ireland have supported and facilitated the program. Their involvement helped streamline its implementation and strengthen institutional partnerships with educational entities.

Matarat Holding manages 27 airports across the Kingdom through its subsidiaries. The company is committed to developing the infrastructure of Saudi airports and enhancing the quality of operational services, in alignment with the National Aviation Strategy, which is part of the broader National Transport and Logistics Strategy.
