Male: President of the Republic of Maldives Dr. Mohamed Muizzu received Imam of the Prophet's Mosque Sheikh Dr. Salah Al Budair today. This visit is part of a series of visits by the imams of the two holy mosques, organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Dawah and Guidance in collaboration with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs of the Republic of Maldives.
According to Saudi Press Agency, President Muizzu expressed his appreciation for Saudi Arabia's contributions to Islam and Muslims. He extended his gratitude to the Saudi leadership for their ongoing support to the Maldives, which includes the construction of mosques, the organization of scientific programs, and the distribution of Quran copies.
